Bungalow Interiors Signature Style 

A long-standing client and close friend invited us to bring the Bungalow touch to her Tasmanian beach retreat.

The brief was to transform a neutral, understated residence into a warm and inviting coastal sanctuary. Drawing on the studio’s signature approach, the interiors balance relaxed coastal living with barefoot luxury, layered textures, and a mix of organic and refined elements.

Global influences and tactile materials were introduced through Eastern African mud cloth, natural linens, and artisanal finishes, paired with carefully selected European furniture and bespoke custom pieces. Together, these layers create a home that feels grounded, soulful, and deeply connected to its setting.

The result is an interior that reflects the raw beauty of the Tasmanian coastline while offering a calm, enveloping sense of retreat. 

A full container was shipped from the Gold Coast to Tasmania, delivering a complete home fit-out tailored specifically for the project. The selection included artisan wallpapers by Arte, handcrafted furniture from Uniqwa Collections, rugs by Baya, decorative pieces from The Foundry, and custom curtains, ottomans, and cushions upholstered in Zinc fabrics. Our trusted trades travelled with us for installation, ensuring artwork, mirrors, curtains, and wallpaper were professionally placed and resolved on site. This was a fully managed styling project, guided from concept through to completion. The result is a home that celebrates craftsmanship and setting in equal measure, deeply connected to the surrounding Tasmanian landscape and designed to feel calm, grounded, and enduring.
