At Bungalow Interiors, we believe a home should feel layered, intentional and deeply liveable, a space that welcomes you the moment you walk through the door. This recently completed residence captures our Calm Standard philosophy perfectly. 

A soft, tonal palette forms the foundation of the home, with warm sand, oat and linen hues creating a sense of effortless calm. Rather than relying on strong contrasts, the design focuses on layering textures and materials to build depth and interest throughout the space. 

The open-plan living area was designed to feel cohesive yet gently defined. A generous curved sofa anchors the living zone, while sculptural nesting coffee tables and tactile fabrics add warmth and softness. The result is a space that feels both elevated and incredibly comfortable.

In the kitchen, natural stone takes centre stage. The dramatic veining of the marble flows across the island and continues up the kitchen wall, balanced by warm timber cabinetry and soft upholstered seating at the bar. Every element was chosen to feel refined yet relaxed.

Above the dining table, a statement chandelier introduces a sculptural moment, casting a warm glow across the room and reinforcing the sense of quiet luxury that defines the project.

Throughout the home, the focus remained on creating a space that feels calm, connected and deeply liveable, a place where design enhances everyday life rather than competing with it.
