Founded on the Gold Coast in 2014 by Interior Designer Kristin Gilford, Bungalow Interiors grew from a lifelong passion for interiors, underpinned by years of hands-on industry experience. Kristin’s early career alongside some of Australia’s leading design studios shaped a design approach that is intuitive, detail-focused, and grounded in quality.
Extensive international travel, personally led sourcing journeys, and close relationships with skilled artisans, both locally and abroad, have informed a design philosophy rooted in timeless elegance. The Bungalow aesthetic blends barefoot luxury with elevated coastal living: relaxed yet resolved, layered yet enduring.
At its heart, Bungalow Interiors is guided by a natural understanding of spatial flow and a deep respect for craftsmanship. From architectural finishes and lighting to furniture and décor, every element is selected with intention. Through a collaborative process, Kristin works closely with clients to translate their vision into cohesive, enduring interiors. Complimentary Meet & Greet
An introduction to our studio and design approach. Meet with us in-store to discuss your vision, explore possibilities, and determine the most appropriate next steps for your project (up to 30 minutes).

Our design consultancy service begins with a personalised discovery session to understand your vision, lifestyle, priorities, and budget. Led by Principal Designer Kristin Gilford, she will guide you through the design process, spatial planning, product selections, timelines, and procurement, ensuring clarity and confidence from concept to completion. Each project is approached with a solutions-driven mindset, creating interiors that are both beautiful and functional.
Consultation fee: $750 for Kristins expertise (up to 2 hours)
Mood Boards & Specifications
Our mood boards translate your ideas into a clear and cohesive visual direction. Developed specifically for each space, they define the overall aesthetic through considered use of colour, texture, finishes, and furnishings. Each board is supported by detailed specification schedules, allowing you to confidently visualise the outcome before moving forward.
Included in this stage:
- Concept mood boards for each room (not to scale)
- Comprehensive specification schedules outlining fittings, finishes, dimensions, and pricing
- Quoting with product availability and estimated lead times
- Payment terms:
In-stock items: 100% payment
Items with lead times over four weeks: 70% deposit
Custom Selections
We offer access to an exclusive range of custom furniture, textiles, and finishes sourced both locally and internationally. From bespoke lounges and rugs to handcrafted headboards, ottomans, and cushions, every selection is tailored to your space. Once confirmed, we manage quoting, availability, and lead times, ensuring a seamless and transparent procurement process.
Delivery and Installation
End-to-End Management:
We handle procurement, storage, delivery and full installation from one location.
All goods are complimentarily stored safely until installation day, without charge.
Delivery/ Install:
White Glove Service
Complete placement + styling by Bungalow team. Third-party delivery including assembly + rubbish removal.
External Trades to be quoted and paid by client (wallpaper, electrical, wall hangings).

And when friends walk in and breathlessly use the same word you know something magical has been created. Thank you for identifying the exact atmosphere we wanted in every part of our new apartment both in and outdoor.
