Interior Makeover

This beachfront apartment in the Jefferson Lane enclave of Palm Beach was styled as a relaxed holiday retreat for a family with energetic teenagers. Remarkably, the entire project was planned, specified, and installed remotely via Zoom, in collaboration with our interstate client.

Referred by a long-standing real estate partner, the brief was to reimagine a dated interior and balcony into a refined expression of barefoot, resort-style living. The approach was relaxed yet elevated, true to the Bungalow Interiors aesthetic.

All selections were made with beachfront conditions in mind. Robust, contemporary furniture with softly rendered, stone-like finishes was layered with oversized cushions, breathable natural fibres, and generous rugs to enhance comfort and durability. Pieces were scaled to suit the balcony, living areas, dining space, and master bedroom, creating a sense of ease and flow throughout. A palette of sea mist, ivory, natural tan, and blonde timber reinforced the calm coastal mood.

To complete the transformation, the three-bedroom apartment was wrapped in textured, washable vinyl wallpaper, subtly echoing the surrounding tropical landscape.

The result is an effortlessly luxurious coastal retreat, resilient, serene, and perfectly suited to holiday living.
