A Gentleman's Retreat - From Lacklustre To Spectacular

This four-story property possesses such an enviable position, occupying absolute waterfrontage in Paradise Point, on the most northern end of the Gold Coast.  Facing west, the sunsets framed within floor to ceiling windows are brilliantly colourful and utterly breathtaking.  The interior spaces are well-finished, expansive and modern, with rooms flowing seamlessly onto large open decks affording residents with front-row seats to the most magnificent views.   

Unfortunately, the decor and interior styling felt cold and uninviting and failed to honor the natural beauty of the surroundings.  For that matter, it didn't reflect our client's unique and stylish taste. 

Kristin added warmth and and character that flowed seamlessly through each living space and to each floor with the carefully considered combination of richly colourful and textured wallpaper applied as a fully-wrap throughout.  Artfully placed mirrors, pot plants, vases and rugs provided additional accents with custom cushions and throws adding further warmth, a synchronicity of style and functionality.  She selected premium modern furniture pieces that was both timeless and comfortable, scaled appropriately to fill clearly delineated spaces without cluttering the seamless flow.  

Kristin's objective was to create a space that immediately resonated with her client, providing the service of interior styling with furniture, decor, curtains and wallpaper.  She incorporated layers of rich textures and organic materials to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Olive green dominates the colour palette paired with natural earthy tones to evoke a sense of grounded strength. Overall design balances masculinity and sophistication with elements that speak to culture, nature and modern design sensibilities.
